TSD Garners Accolades From Houzz.com

Great design involves attentiveness to detail. It is our honor to receive recognition from Houzz.com for a thoughtful approach to lighting in one of our recent Kitchen Renovation Projects. In an article written by Houzz Contributor Barbara Bright, Twelve Stones Designs, LLC was highlighted for the use of indirect lighting above the kitchen cabinetry, creating a tailored atmosphere and mood within the space.

By uplighting a space, we create an opportunity for function to intersect with beauty, particularly in a kitchen. Indirect lighting creates a glare-free way of lighting a room while enhancing the atmosphere. Additionally, electing to install uplighting provides a clean look to the ceiling by avoiding the penetrations necessary for recessed or track lighting options. Furthermore, should the design call for intricate ceiling treatments, such as molding details, coffers, or wallpaper, this indirect lighting approach allows an uninterrupted canvas to work on without having to work around recessed cans or trying to paint trims to match the finish.

At Twelve Stones Designs, LLC, we pride ourselves on being conscious of the details and understanding the technicalities of a great lighting plan. We enjoy creating beautiful spaces that exceed our clients' expectations by bringing these elements of "invisible functionality" that enhance the space. It is a privilege to have that mastery acknowledged by other leaders in the industry. Thanks for featuring our work, Houzz.com! Please click here to view the full Houzz.com article.
