White is very popular for kitchen cabinetry, as seen in this Thermador Kitchen Design Challenge Award Winner from New Creations Custom Kitchen and Bath and Christy Bowen of Twelve Stones Designs. Using different cabinetry for the island than the rest of the kitchen is also popular.
